About Dr. Bob Preziosi
Dr. Preziosi combines the wisdom of his 30 years of experience with his trademarked youthful enthusiasm for what makes people and organizations work and succeed. He began work in the 1970's as a Leadership Training Administrator. He soon became the Vice President of Management Training and Development at a Fortune 50 Financial Services Institution. Today, he continues his decades long and Distinguished Human Resources and Leadership teaching, training, coaching, writing and consulting career at Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship teaching graduate business courses. Bob's management courses, seminars and mentoring prepare working professionals to lead organizations through the intricacies of the global business world. He received Nova's first "Excellence in Teaching" award in 1997 and was named "Professor of the Decade" in 2000. In 2007 he received the "Excellence in Teaching" award from the Hudson Institute.
In addition to a long and distinguished teaching career, Dr. Preziosi has also provided management and leadership consulting services for a variety of organizations and corporations across multiple industries. Click here to view a partial list.
Dr. Preziosi is also widely known for his valuable contributions to the Human Resources profession. The American Society for Training and Development, (ASTD) the premier association on workplace learning and performance awarded Bob its "Outstanding Contribution to HRD" award in 1984, and its Torch Award, honoring three or four members per year whose contributions advance the society's vision and goals in 1990 & 1995. He is the only recipient of two Torch Awards in ASTD's 60-year history. ASTD's membership includes more than 70,000 people, working in the field of workplace performance in 100 countries worldwide.
